Curriculum and British Values

Redcourt St Anselm’s is a Catholic school which seeks to live out the values of the Gospel and follow the teachings of Jesus. We promote these gospel values in what we do, by what we say, through Catholic doctrine and practice. Our faith permeates every aspect of school life.

We promote a Catholic, Christian curriculum, which is broad and balanced. We recognise that all children are a gift from God and that every pupil is unique.

Our curriculum is designed to be inclusive and provides a very strong spiritual, moral, social and cultural aspect.

We provide a range of extra-curricular activities and very strong pastoral support. We incorporate democratic principles, value the rule of law, support individual liberty and mutual respect, and foster a community in which different faiths and beliefs are treated with respect.

The curriculum we offer aims to encourage every pupil to develop their talents and to achieve success in order that they may make a positive contribution to the community and have the necessary awareness of what it means to be a good citizen in Britain today.
