Assessment Principles

At Redcourt St Anselm’s assessment is an integral part of pupil learning and the development of the whole child. It provides:

 ·      Reliable and accurate information about pupil progress and attainment

·       Information to show quickly any pupils who are under achieving and falling behind so that
systems can be put in place to support them.

·       Reflective practices such as pupil progress meetings to ensure progression

·       Tracking of all pupil attainment and progress

·        Development for the whole child regardless of different abilities and the setting of
      personalised targets and goals.

·        Information about the social and emotional impact on learning
