If your child is ill, please e-mail or telephone the school before 9.00am on the first day of absence.  He/she should bring a letter signed by a parent on his/her return to school giving a reason for the absence.  The School Welfare Officer will keep a record of all absences and award the appropriate registration code reflecting the reason for a child’s absence.

First Day Contact
First day contact will be made with parents if a child is absent and the reason has not been communicated to school.  This should in no way be considered to be intrusive or a nuisance, this is purely to ensure the safety and well-being of all our children.

On return to school each pupil’s absence requires a letter of explanation to be supplied to the school for the purposes of formal school records.
